Iv been off and on with my neighbor since i was in 6th grade and he was in 5th we just broke up a couple months ago now and we are now in 8th and 7th grade. We have dated about 4 times now. I fell in love with him when we dated last year and i cant get over him he still texts me and we hang out around town allot its hard not to because we live in a town with a pop. of 100 people so theres not much else to do. Sometimes he tells me he still loves me and he tells me loves me every night when we are dating. But recently he told me he fell for my bestfriend and still likes me but doesn't love me and I told him I still love him but doesn't seem to care and we act like nothings wrong when we hangout. It hurts to think that he loves someone else. I want to get over him but I cant.

Sometimes the people we want the most are the people we are better off without. It takes awhile to get over someone and on occasion it will hurt. It just takes time to heal, in the first place don't let him know he can destroy you because that will happen in the worst way. Once you stop chasing him he will realize what he lost. Right now he's playing you so if i were you i would try to find someone who you find funny or even like a little bit and hang out with him more than your ex. If he likes your best friend and she goes with him than she isn't the friend you thought.
